Study Highlights the Impact of Low Glycemic Load Atta on Blood Sugar

We are proud to share that recently Diabexy Atta published in a newspaper highlighting the findings of a study conducted at SN Medical College, Agra. The report focused on how changing the type of atta used in everyday meals can make a meaningful difference for people living with Type 2 diabetes.

The feature highlighted the role of low glycemic load (GL) atta in improving blood sugar levels and reducing HbA1c, offering an important perspective on how everyday food choices can support better diabetes management.

What the Study Found

According to the newspaper report, the study involved 568 people with Type 2 diabetes, with 512 participants completing the study. The participants had an average age of around 45 years.

The study observed encouraging changes after replacing regular atta with a low glycemic load atta:

  • Got lower HbA1c ( 8.5 to 6.5 )
  • Lower fasting blood sugar
  • Lower after-meal blood sugar
  • The study also found that many participants needed fewer diabetes medicines over time as part of their overall diabetes management program

Why Glycemic Load Matters

Glycemic Load (GL) is a measure of how much a serving of a food is likely to raise blood sugar after consuming.

Choosing foods with a lower glycemic impact may help reduce the rise in blood glucose after meals.

This is the idea behind Diabexy Atta—to make a simple, everyday food more suitable for people who are looking to manage their blood sugar through better food choices.

Diabexy believes that managing diabetes should not be limited to medicines alone. Awareness, appropriate nutrition, regular monitoring and guidance from healthcare professionals all have an important role to play.

A Proud Moment for the Diabexy Team

Being featured in a newspaper report discussing clinical study findings is an encouraging milestone for the Diabexy mission.

It strengthens our belief that better food choices, backed by scientific evidence, can become an important part of the conversation around diabetes management.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share this work and the study findings with a wider audience.

Our Mission Continues

Our mission is to eradicate diabetes from India like polio. Everything we do is targeted to achieve our mission. We believe that it is possible to reverse diabetes with the help of the right knowledge and proper discipline.
