Matar Paratha Recipe | Matar Paratha | Diabetic Green Peas Paratha

 

Nowadays eating healthy has become very important, especially for diabetes patients. We all like paratha but due to its irresistible nature it is not healthy for us, if you are a diabetic then eating paratha is not good for you as it has a high glycemic index value and will increase your sugar level, But don’t worry Diabexy has a solution of it, Now you can make diabetic friendly paratha with low glycemic value and even tastier than regular paratha.

Ingredients to Make Peas Paratha

  • 30 gm boiled green peas (Matar)
  • 10 gm ginger (Adrak)
  • 1-2 Green Chilli (Hari Mirch)
  • Coriander leaves (Dhaniya)
  • 100 gm Diabexy atta
  • Nutroactive Mineral salt
  • 1 tbsp Desi ghee
  • 1 tsp Ajwain (carom seeds)
  • 30 gm chopped spinach (Palak)

If you are not Diabetic or prediabetic then you can choose your regular atta but if you are a sugar patient or prediabetic patient, then choose Diabexy sugar control atta and Nutroactive Mineral salt as these have low glycemic value which makes it completely healthy and nutrient-rich paratha. 

Tasty Matar ka Paratha for Diabetic Patients

To make special healthy peas paratha follow the below steps:

Our first step would be to create a mixture of Matar, ginger, green chilli, and Dhaniya.

  • First, boil 30 gm of Matar.
  • Now take a jar of the mixture and put these boiled green peas in it, now add 10 gm of adrak (ginger), 1-2 green chillis, and some coriander leaves.

  • Now create a paste of all these ingredients

Now take a bowl to make the dough of your atta.

  • Add 100 gm of Diabexy atta and Nutroactive salt.
  • Now add 1 tsp of ajwain, 1 tbsp of desi ghee, and 30 gm of spinach in it.

  • In the next step add your Matar paste in atta and mix them properly.

  • When you notice that it is mixed properly, now make the dough of this mixture.

  • Now roll it like you do to make regular roti and paratha and cook it from both sides. For oiling, I will suggest using desi ghee else you can use olive oil or any good vegetable oil.

Now your healthy Matar ka paratha is ready to serve which even diabetes patients can enjoy too without the fear of their sugar level. This diabetes-friendly paratha would not increase their blood sugar level.
